How to Become a Member

In keeping with our Core Value of Learning Continually, we ask all who desire to join our church to participate in membership preparation classes.  These are typically offered in four one-hour sessions, six times a year.  Once the class is completed, candidates for membership interview with one of our Elders.  Finally to make membership official,  candidates are introduced to the congregation in a worship service during the "Crossing the Bridge of Membership" ceremony.  Candidates symbolically begin their membership as they cross over an actual bridge and as the church family cheers and applauds them into the family.
